Advance Fire is one of the leading fire protection companies in Yorkshire.

We are a family run business based in York established in 1976 specialising in the field of fire safety. We design, install, commission and maintain Fire Alarm Systems, Emergency Lighting, Nurse Call, Smoke Vents, Security and portable Fire Fighting Extinguishers with a wide range of custom made fire safety signs to BS 5499.

With over 30 years of experience in Fire Detection, Prevention and Security we cover North, West, South, Hull & East Yorkshire / Humberside and Northern England (Newcastle down to Derby, Sheffield, Nottingham, Lincoln and from the East Coast to West). We offer a 24 hour emergency call out service (7 days a week) if needed.

We are specialists in what we do, offering expert advice to keep our customers compliant with the current British Standard regulations. We take great care in our work and service to a very high standard but with low servicing charges.

If you have a fire alarm system, emergency lighting or fire extinguisher units in your building, you may or may not be aware that they require regular maintenance, in accordance with BS 5839-1 & 6, BS 5266-1 and BS 5306-3. Should this be of relevance to you, we would be pleased to offer you a quotation or this service.

New Fire Safety regulations came into force on 1st October 2006 and the responsibility is now on the owner. Does your business fully comply?

Not only does this involve regular maintenance of your fire equipment, emergency lighting and fire alarms (in some cases upgrading and extending) but also includes signage to BS 5499 (e.g. Extinguisher ID, Call Point ID etc - all kept in stock).
